“One day, the absurdity of the almost universal human belief in the slavery of other animals will be palpable. We shall then have discovered our souls and become worthier of sharing this planet with them.”
― Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dog Chaining will be the primary “Let Freedom Ring” issue that will be focused on during the Animal World USA Weeks for the Animals 2022 schedule. The schedule includes celebrations in states (as well as, international celebrations in Africa and the United Kingdom).
Legislators across each state will be contacted and informed of community animal advocacy groups working to build fences, unchain dogs, educate the public and finally end the cruelty of dog chaining. Lawmakers will be encouraged to make a commitment to begin in earnest to work with their constituents to end the outdated and harmful practice of chaining dogs.
“Animal World USA is grateful to know that positive changes will continue to result in communities with the further coming together on behalf of animals at the local, state and international level,” states Animal World USA president Michelle Buckalew.
